RAM upgrade to higher speed or add to exitsing 1333MHz

I have Corsair 4GB x2 with Asus M5A88-M

Should I be getting new 8x2 1800MHz RAM or stick with current RAM speed and add another 8x1 RAM and save $60 (INR. 4K).
I need to run VMs and some video processing.
