Question Ram upgrade ?

I have been looking at upgrading my ram for a bit now but not sure if it’s really beneficial or what I should upgrade to. My current setup is:

g.skill 3000mhz
Asus z-390a motherboard
8700 k
2080 ti
Any opinions? I was looking at some patriot viper and g skill 3600

I don't think it's worth it unless you were primarily cpu limited(which faster memory would help with).
Other than that, it would be a rather expensive upgrade.

Both hi-performance ram types.
However it is much more important to ensure that your new ram is compatible with the mobo.
Otherwise you will for sure run into problems with no-boot or sudden re-boots.

Visit Asus z-390a support/download site and look for the ram QVL pdf and download it.
If you can not find your new ram in this list, you are really flowing around out in the blue thin air.

No excuses are valid, it MUST be in the list exactly as printed on the ram module.
the QVL list is no joke, it is created to help customers avoiding hardware problems.
