Question RAM upgrade

Hi guys, I have a MSi GF63 Thin 9SCXR with i5 9300H processor and the mainboard is the MS-16R4. I would like to install HyperX Impact DDR4 SODIMM CL15 2666MHz 8GB. Do you know about the compatibily?

If you must go for a ram upgrade, do not mix and match sticks of ram and buy into a (dual channel)ram kit. Yes the ram frequency you've chosen is right since anything higher well not be used by the system(chipset and processor limitations).

Prior to the ram upgrade, just make sure you're on the latest BIOS version for your laptop.
