i have built my own pc with the following specs, msi x570 gaming edge mobo, ryzen 7 3800x cpu, msi 6700xt gpu, 600w gold psu, corsair vengeance pro 16gb 3200 ram.
My problem lies with my ram, i have bought a extra 16gb upgrade, when i install the extra ram my cpu light comes on mobo and nothing works. for fault finding i have changed the slots around, checked that my old ram works in the different slots, and also changed the voltage. so when only the old ram in it works fine, i swap out for new ram and the red cpu light comes on and nothing operates. they do however light up. is there any answers to this situation?
