hello everyone,
I currently have 16gb ram with 2666 in frequency and I want to upgrade it.
it get stuck at 75% usage when I play games while cpu 4x% and gpu 4x%.
I don't know which is better :
to get 1 x 16gb 3200 corsair Vengeance or two, or 2x8 3600 frequency ripjaw

If 75% usage is the highest you get to, that's not really a problem. If it's 75% while doing basic tasks, then I would say this is a problem and you need to figure out what's eating up your RAM.

In any case, you should always have RAM in pairs. Getting a single stick will drop the system from using dual-channel memory, which can lead to degraded performance.

thank you, 75% while gaming but the frequency 2666 is low.
so I go for G.Skill RipJaws 5 Series Noir 16Go (2x 8Go) DDR4 3600 MHz CL18
or Corsair Vengeance LPX Series Low Profile 16Go (2x 16Go) DDR4 3200 MHz CL16
my specs are :
asus prime b450m k
rtx 2060 super
ryzen 5 3600
corsair 750w

Also keep in mind that if you go with either of these, they will operate at 2666, unless you plan to replace your existing kit.

Be careful how you interpret ram utilization.
Windows keeps unused code around in case it needs to be reused quickly.
75% is probably what everybody will show.

What is your cpu?
Are you using integrated graphics.
my specs are :
asus prime b450m k
rtx 2060 super
ryzen 5 3600
corsair 750w

You say you have 16 GB of RAM now.

And you say: "so I go for G.Skill RipJaws 5 Series Noir 16Go (2x 8Go) DDR4 3600 MHz CL18 or Corsair Vengeance LPX Series Low Profile 16Go (2x 16Go) DDR4 3200 MHz CL16".

Is that really what you mean?

It doesn't make much sense to swap 16 of this speed for 16 of that speed.

It would make sense to swap 16 for 32 if you need 32 at all.

"2 x 16Go" typically would mean 32 total, but you refer to it as "16Go".

yep, my bad I copied the name of the ram from the website, I meant 2 x 8 3600 or 2x 16 3200 or get with only one 16 3200 is enough.

thank you, do you have any recommendations?
I do not.

RAM amount is more important than RAM speed.....assuming you are currently using all of your RAM.

I'm not aware of any major distinctions between G Skill and Corsair, but I don't follow it closely, particularly on the AMD platform.

Some people live and die on benchmarks. If you are such a person, then go hog wild on the RAM speed, regardless of any perceptible difference in day to day use. Why volunteer for buyer's remorse?

thank you very much, I'm currently using 75% while ganing and it's capped at that.
that's why I thought to get bit more speed
