RAM upgrate compatibility question.

Hi!
I have a need to upgrade RAM.
Currently i have 2x4GB sticks (Samsung M378B5273CH0-CH9) working in dual mode. Can't find locally that Samsung anymore.

So want to ask you experts, whether this stick will work with Samsungs: Kingston KVR13N9S8
Both have same specs, as far i see, but Kingston appears to be a low-profile and there are 8 memory chips on 1 side unlike Samsung (16 total).

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68V-LX
CPU: Intel i5 2500K (Sandy Bridge)

No way to tell without trying. There are no guarantees when mixing packages of DRAM - even if the packages are the same exact model - it's a crapshoot if they will Play or won't. Always best to get full amount in a single package
