Ram upgread

I have VIA P4M800 Northbridge and VT8237 chipset,and DDR400 and motherboard LGA775 socket. so iwant a BEst RAM for improving PC and i already i have 256 RAM then what is best for me 256 or 512 RAM. thanks.

Many of the RAM manufacturers' sites such as www.crucial.com have automated memory configuration helpers that will tell you what upgrades will work for your system. For Windows performance, the more RAM the better.
