RAM Voltage mix

I have two kits of ram,

if you have dual memory,

can i use two different voltages on the same motherboard, (i.e 1.5v with 1.7v) but in seperate channels.

i am asking this because i can no longer find the patriot memory that came with the motherboard that i just bought.

can anyone help me please?

yes you can but ts very likely you will need to raise the ram voltage to the higher one to get it to run and use the ram timings of the slowest ram.
