Question Ram with ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING

Hi, I found this board at a great price and I bought it
I have an RX570 and i m buying a Ryzen 1600 for a nice office and little gaming pc.
Ram is my worry, I v found these two below well priced, second hand.

Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16
CMK16GX4M4B3000C15

Are they going to work fine?

Yep, it will work fine, as far as I've read from reviews. I'd recommend you get the 2x8 one with 3200MHz speed and C16 timings( this one CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 )The other one is also in a 4x4 config, so if you're gonna get that, you need a 4 ram slot motherboard

My m/b has 4slots plus its quad channel and CAS 15, so isn't this better than 2x8?

I have 16 GB G.Skill TridentZ 3200 (F4-3200C16D-GTZR) RAM kit that are Hynix AFC (A die) on the Strix B450-F Gaming.
I have them OC'd to 3400 MHz.
So whoever said the Hynix A dies don't work well with this MB are incorrect.

You motherboard is not quad channel, so there's not advantage to getting 4x4 GB. You're better off getting 2x8 GB, as it can be a little more difficult to get 4 sticks running stably compared to 2.

As of this year, AMD has done a good job to make sure Hynix and Micron memory is supported pretty well on Ryzen. So I wouldn't worry about your memory being Hynix.

But Samsung is definitely the best, but there is no guarantee you'll get Samsung chips unless you go with either select Dual Rank DIMMs or memory that is at least 3200 CL14/3466 CL16 or faster.

And as other's have said, definitely go with only two high capacity sticks if possible. Which will put less stress on the memory controller which means you can run higher clock RAM.
