[SOLVED] Ram with same specs but different size and brands?

I have Sony Vaio SVE15133CN laptop. It comes with 2GB Elpida RAM. I have added 4GB Samsung RAM in another slot with same specs. It has been now 2 days laptop is running much faster and didn't get any problem. Is there any chance in future that two RAM's with different size and brands can cause damage to my laptop?Should I remove 2GB Elpida ram?

no way of causing physical damage.
just data loss or other possible issues with the two different sets not syncing properly.

run a few rounds of Memtest with both sets installed and see what is reported.
