Ram won't go to 1600mhz

Hi, I have the gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and i'm having problems getting it to run my ram at 1600mhz tried simply setting it to 1600 which doesn't work, i'm tinkering with it as i post this.

My ram is Corsair vengence 1600mhz CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 i'll update you on how it goes.
my processor is an Fx 8350

go into the bios, find where you change the ram speed, and set it to XMP profile. Should fix it.
