Question RAM wont work

So I went to put two new stick of 8x2 GB of ram and I took the old one out and put the new ones in slot 2&4 it didn't work it said no signal on the monitor so I switched them to 1&3 and it did the same thing so I took it out and put the old ram back in and it didn't work it still said no signal. How would I fix this issue?

What sticks? Brands, latencies(timings)?
What motherboard?

no signal on the monitor

So machine does start (fans spin, lights on, etc as usually) but it's just the monitor with no visible reaction?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.,

Did you purchase a matched set of RAM modules for dual channel use?

Also: refer to the motherboard's User Guide/Manual. Some motherboard's require that the first installed RAM module be physically installed in a specific slot.

The ram is ballistix it 3000 mhz and I have a prime B450-A mother board everything turns on it just says no signal on my monitor I tried swapping cord didn’t work so yeah

i installed it into the slots the manual says and I purchased the same ram I already had in there

Crucial should be compatible by itself, though the codename BL2K8G30C15U4B isn't in the QVL of your motherboard.
If you put just one of the new sticks, does it work?
If you put back the old stick alone or with a new together, does it work? And if yes, can you see the timings in BIOS? Are they 15-16-16-35 ?

Reset CMOS and try it again.

How do you reset the cmos I’m new to the pc world so I don’t know how to do that?

Via the CMOS battery (it's a battery like a coin)
or with a bios jumper
can apply both
some minutes out, then back
google images can help

Yes, and you put it back. It's interesting a previous machine of mine back in time wanted me to do a bios jumper-reset while CMOS -battery didn't help.
Anyway, did you read all the answers you received here carefully and done things adviced?
