RAM XMP Profiles on Ryzen

Hi. I'm going to be purchasing the ryzen 7 1700 and I'm going to pair it with 16gb of DDR4 3200MHz G.Skill Trident Z ram. I read online that the official maximum frequency of ram is 2666MHz and going above that is overclocking.
Is this true and if so, will the ROG Strix B450-F motherboard support overclocking the frequency to 3200MHz as I want to get the highest possible speeds.

Um so is this an alternative to XMP? Does it change the ram frequency?
