i have a HP 15-g050e and I cant seem to find any info about my laptop I went to add a 4gb ram to give myself 8gb so looked into my task manager and shows that I have two slot but only have one. knowing that my cpu is a single module but I don't have a soldered ram like most people can anyone help me

So you added 4GB more and have 8GB now but can not see in the task manager? Use the application named "CPU-Z" to check your RAMs. Task manager fails to show correct things very often.
