rams colors difference

I was picking out ram kit and I noticed some rams have the sam name and the same size and look but its different in color and price why?

Hello... You have to look deeper into the Specs of the RAM, to know why. Do you have an example that you are wondering about.

Sometimes they have different speeds and latencies. That might be why.

Sometimes color is just for style, other times it's because there is a slight difference in the clock timings. The vengeance series seems to mostly have the same clock timings, but slightly different voltages. Amazon usually sucks for PC shopping because they don't tell you the specifications adequately at all.
