Title says it, I ran out of space while extracting a large file with 7 zip. I though I was extracting to the drive I was on, but I usually don't use seven zip and didn't know it would just extract it to a default folder location. Now my main drive is full and I don't know the location or the rather large files that remain from the failed extraction.

Solution

It said it was the system temp folder. However when I looked in it I couldn't find anything. Oddly enough though I just downloaded the WinDirStat program which shows me the size and location of everything in my drive and organizes it by size, and sure enough I found what I was looking for in the temp folder. So The problem is fixed now, it's just odd how I couldn't find it when I just looked normally in the temp folder (I was looking for hidden files too).
