[SOLVED] Random audio glitching/buzzing/stuttering

It is driving me insane, it seems like it goes away and then it comes back. It might lag video too I'm not to sure. If i disable my wifi driver (Asus pcie N15) it goes away, but i can't use ethernet because my computer is not near a ethernet port. It just happened randomly and might be getting worse.

Try using the latency monitor app here. Resplendence Software - Free Downloads Use it in the background while you use the computer. After the buzzing and glitching happen a couple of times check the apps report and see if it gives you driver/s problem.

- I set it running and it happened. I have Power Saver on and if I turn it off it does go away, but i have it on due to my fan being noisy. I don't see why its an issue now since its been fine for 3 years. Again disabling my lan drivers does fix it but due to not being near an ethernet port I need it enabled. any other fixes/driver issues that might be causing the problem? My storage is 20gb free for both my ssd and my hdd so is there an issue there?

Did you check to see if the driver needs updating? You said it's been fine for 3 years, did you add a new program, like a new anti virus, etc?

No new updates and no my only anti-virus is windows defender

It does take a while to do what the image has displayed and ive been running it for 1h and it still hasn't reached the levels shown in the image

Ok so click on event viewer in Windows start button, look under summary of administrative events, see if there are any critical events listed, and errors reported(this could be thousands to just a few).

Could you go down to event 454 and click on the error and post up the general info page along with the device manager listing expanded ?

yes but when I exited out of it it did nothing

When you talk about loud fans if you turn off power saver, what are you referring to?

CPU fan, i probably need to get a better one cuz it is loud

nothing to do with it actually, i tested it without balanced mode on and it did it ugh

Ahh so if the fan is getting loud perhaps we should look at operating temps for your cpu/gpu. You can use Cpuid-Hwmonitor program to monitor temps, fan speeds, voltages. Download the latest version of CPUID HWmonitor free in English on CCM - CCM Just to make sure you don't have any operating problems.
