So I've been getting Bccode 124 frequently ever since upgrading my GPU, here are my specs
GPU-Asus Radeon 7790 2GB OC
CPU-AMD Phenom II X4 820 2.2GHz
MOBO- MS-7641
PSU- Corsair CX500 500w
Ram - 4GB
Problems began when installing new gpu , I think it could be the way I installed it , I followed a friends advice (Plug in GPU and run driver CD when in PC) upon booting up my PC went into PC recovery , well when it was done everything was fine , I installed the new GPU drivers from the disc and it ran fine , than I think it was a couple of weeks later it started crashing , the PC would freeze, restart and when I got to the Desktop it would tell me about BCCode 124 , Well I later used Driver sweeper and reinstalled the drivers from the AMD website, and I'm still having the problems , more frequently actually , and if I disable the GPU through Device manager my PC runs alot quicker than it does with the GPU enabled. All of my drivers are up to date , and I notice the crash only happens when I don't do anything , when I'm idle it happens , I've had it happen once when playing a game , and it was when the game was loading , I'm out of ideas on what to do here.

Solution
I assume you didn't OC anything manually ! If you did then revert it to its stock speed. Bccode 124 is actually a hardware error code.

Try the GPU on another system, look how it works there. Try to borrow a PSU from someone to test.

I think your GPU is faulty, but time hasn't come yet to confirm it, so do the test to confirm it.

I'm taking it to my friend's dad sometime today so he can take a look at it , I don't have another system.
