OKay I am rewriting this because it crashed on me as I had most of it typed.. god I hate this. Basically my computer wont run unless I turn up the voltages on things even though the CPU isnt overclocked. a year ago it crashed and I had to do the same thing but it doesnt seem to be holding up too well now. I had my 4670k overclocked at 4.2ghz for 2 years and maybe that hurt it. Feel like doing a complete rebuild or new mobo/cpu at this point even though it handles all games on high/ultra 60fps.

I have ruled out memory testing via trying one stick at a time and I did this twice even. I ran a memory test that is integrated in windows 10 with no errors as well. Ive done countless virus scans with hitman pro and 2 other tools people have reccomended. Sometimes the computer crashes 20 minutes in and sometimes 2 hours or even 7 hours. If I change one of the 3 settings " CPU vcore, DRAM voltage and PCH core just by a little it will crash or be stable for hours. I have tried it without my 980ti as well to rule that out, Ive updated all my drivers but stil get random crashes. It isnt a temperature issue as I get really cool temps with a hyper 212 evo,29-31c idles.

This all started because my bios reset itself and it wont even get to the windows login screen if I dont up these 3 settings a bit. I dont see how it wont boot without changing these settings that are default, it used to run just fine on default bios settings and the dual bios doesn't seem to work either. Right now I have it at 3.8ghz and am always wondering when it is going to crash on me. I do have a netgear A6210 usb adapter which has been known to cause crashes but I got the BSODS without it plugged in even. please help me guys I will attach the latest whocrashed/minidump files and a picture of my bios settings.

So I reverted back to the settings in my imgur picture above and its been stable for 3 hours, like what the hell and if I set it to default or force a bios reset by power switching/purging it wont even go to login screen without random bluescreens. At least my pc works for an hour or so.

Hmm it was fine for 3 hours and as soon as I launched FL Studio 12 it crashed. Gonna try and reinstall the drivers for that "ASIO4ALL" and my interface "focusrite 2i2" drivers.

I had like 4 audio drivers installed.. NVIDIAs audio driver, ASIO4ALL, FL Studio ASIO, asus xonar DG audio driver and lastly the one I need for my interface the Focusrite USB Audio. I removed all but the NVIDIA and Focusrite and Im hoping she wont BSOD now.

I cant even get my minidumps anymore, this really is pissing me off. I dont know what componets I can and cannot use in my next build such as my GPU, PSU, hard drives. Never have I had a computer issue this complicated what in the actual fuck

wow just now seeing this but you are correct. I removed the RAM upgrade I did (8gb to 16gb) from slots 2 and 4 and haven't had an issue since. IT only took me over 24 hours of actual time to figure it out 🙁 . Im not sure if my slots 2 and 4 are bad or the ram itself, that's what I get for buying used RAM on ebay. Either way it's back to good again for over a week since I removed it and I'm saving up for a new build anyhow.

Glad it's "recognized" for now, atleast..... Same thing happened to me with a bunch of my laptops, well every time it was the stick, but in my oldest one (d630), one of the SODIMM slots stopped working.... :/
