Random computer shut down?

I was having a heavy gaming session for about an hour and ramped up a few settings in some games and could hear my R9 290 working hard, whilst in a game of BF4 (on ultra and I had just bumped up Scaling to 130%) my computer just cut out, totally shut itself down and won't turn back on. I opened the case up and it's very hot in there.

The PSU was very hot to the touch because it's right under the GPU, Im leaving it unplugged for the time being but I'm not getting any indication there is power going into my computer, usually there is a yellow light from the PSU and my power button on the front glows until you turn it on but none of that is happening.

Any help is really appreciated!

wait untill it cools down and then try powering on, if still there is no change. then u might want to try a different power supply
