Hi all
I get these crash to desktop bugs in random occasions.
"DEV ERROR 6068 - DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error' ", or I get error 6070. (in call of duty modern warfare and similar errors in black ops cold war)
"the gpu will not respond" (Hades)
These errors can happen at any time; after 10 minutes of gameplay or 1-2 hours. Then it crashes to desktop.
I have tried a ton of fixes, based on internet tips.
I have a ryzen 3600, MSI Tomahawk MAX board, nvidia 1080 MSI GPU, 16GB 3200mhz ram.
Anyone got a hint here, would be really interesting to hear.

- Turn off Nvidia overlay through Geforce experience
- Set game to Windows borderless
- Set refresh rate and FPS limit to match my monitor
- All drivers (windows, Nvidia, bios etc.) updated
- Turn off XBOX Game Bar
- Turned off MSI Afterburner and all other overlay apps
- Set game to HIGH CPU PRIORITY on Task Manager
- Set particles setting to Low
- Reduce GPU settings in game to low.
- Scan and repair game files
- Scannow in command promt for faulty windows system files
