Hello everybody,

I'm facing a strange problem since years with my computer.

Few years ago (maybe 2) I turned on the computer as usual but the case and all the peripherals (mouse, keyboard) were ok while the motherboard didn't turn on and so nothing appeared on the display. I tried to change the motherboard and it worked!

Now, 1 month ago I formatted the computer and changed the cpu cooler and the same problem is happening again... this time I'm able to turn on the computer just pressing again the boot button..
I have already tried to change the power supply and it doesn't work... I have no more ideas.

The cpu is an AMD FX6300 (7 years old), the cpu cooler is new, the hard disk is hdd by western digital (7 years old), the new power supply is a 500W Tauros by Itek and the gpu is a Radeon R7.
The latest motherboard is Asrock 970 PRO3 R2.0.

Thank you in advance

Another motherboard?

Now, 1 month ago I formatted the computer - how did you do that?

I had problems few years ago but I solved changing the mb. 1 month ago I had the same problem again on the same computer.
I don't think it was the mb again. After many tests, I changed the RAM and now is working good.
At this point I suppose that the RAM is broken
