Ok so I have a problem with games such as titanfall and bf4. In bf4 I get fps drops when I start playing a match but then they go away after some time. Sometimes they return though. For titanfall, most of the time when I play I get longer loading times than I used to and I get HUGE cpu and gpu spikes, resulting in annoying fps drops. This never happened before, and I had the same specs as before. My temps look fine. Could it be a dust issue? Someone please help.
Specs:

4 gb ram

Download this tool: http://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/. Copy it to the desktop. Restart the computer, wait the operating system load and do not open any application/program. Execute HijackThis as admnistrator and select the option: Scan & Save log.
Send us the log text file.

Make sure all drivers are up to date as well:
http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
http://www2.ati.com/drivers/auto/autodetectutility.exe (from AMD ATI).
Before the spikes start, your house had a power line drop and your pc turned off? All drivers are up to date? Do you remember of install a new program, application, change settings before the spikes start?

Memory usage is over 90%
No my pc didnt turn off.
All drivers are up to date.
There were some patches but I don't believe they did anything to performance but Im not 100% sure
It could be a program but Im not sure
I think I fixed the Titanfall fps drops by enabling vsync and Open gl triple buffering in the AMD catalyst control 3D application settings, but fps drops for bf4 still occur at random moments when I am playing

Memory bandwidth could be the bottleneck although I'm hesitant to say that is the main source of the fps drops since Pperformance of BF4 is most consistently associated with the speed of a given machine's GPU. Try lowering the graphic setting to see if your card is an issue. If the issue is still there, then I'd consider upgrading to 8 Gb of ram. Usually updates and patches make a program require more resources and seeing as you are hitting pretty high memory usage, this could become a problem if it isn't already.

Use the lowest settings while in-game. Open the Catalyst painel and let the program decide what setup to use, or set it to auto. Do you have the same experience in other games? Try other games.
If it doesn't work, we will have a diagoneses on running applications while you are gaming.

BF4 definitely needs 4GB, because I had the same problem. Sometimes I used to have some glitches.

OK nevermind, titanfall started lagging and had longer loading times when I got into another match even with razer cortex
Not sure if I need more ram because the game used to run fine and I haven't upgraded my ram since
I was just playing bf4 and it was running smoothly
I used razer cortex
Only a few fps drops came

Sure I will try that but when the pc starts. can I close any applicaiton that runs on startup?
All drivers are up to date except for a realtek sound driver which I will update sometime soon

Do you know what is this Athan Software?

Open Origin, go to Games section. Right-click the game image and select "repair-install".

Edited~~~
I think you can disable AMDUSB3DeviceDetector, RazerComms and Hamachi.
Also, disable the services BRSptSvc, CouponPrinterService, Hamachi and Futuremark.

Suggestion: uninstall Avast and switch to Avira.

Thanks for the help man! :)
Alright I disabled the services that you told me to except for AMDUSB3DeviceDetector
Some services were already stopped
Also I did the repair install for bf4
I ran bf4 and I didn't really have any fps drops but sometimes the game would freeze and crash
For titanfall I was able to play 2 matches without any lag and with short loading times but on my third match, I got a longer loading time and I got some fps drops for about a minute or 2 but later they seemed to only happen everyone in a while. They kind of stopped occurring.
But still could it be some other service that could be making this happen.

Update: Bf4 seems to work fine in fullscreen mode on mostly medium settings, not many fps drops
But titanfall still gets fps drops
After playing 2 smooth matches of attrition, I get longer loading times and fps drops in my 3rd match
why does this happen?

Maybe because the software stack cache files in the memory RAM. So soon or later it needs to be released and it take some time. You could try exit the game before start the third match and then start again.

Thanks again! That seemed to work, but there is something I don't really understand. I don't think that this happened before. Also sometimes I get lower fps than I used to. I think my gpu is too dusty for it's own good.

Alright I got another 4 gb ram and now I have 8
No more fps drops really, but got another problem
When I play bf4, I either get BSOD or I get a direct X error saying something about device driver hung or something
I think my gpu driver crashes.
Any help?
