hi, not sure this would be appropiate section for this question but cant see any troubleshooting section of the forum.
I have been having this issue where my computer freezes randomly. frequency is random as well. sometimes once a day, sometimes several times in a row. when it freezes, i can not "ctrl alt delete", mouse or keybord not responding. what ever was on the screen at the moment stays, i can only do hard reset by pressing case button. after hard reset either of following happens. computer starts normally and working normally but eventually freezes again.
computer will start, meaning lights on, fans on, but HD light not blinking as usual, and black screens. no matter how long i wait nothing happens. now first time this happened, i went to IBUYPOWER website chat and did as suggested in video, where i reseated RAMs. after that, computer starts as normal, everything working normal, but eventually freezes again. when the freeze results in black screen, i went ahead and reseated RAMs again as well as graphic card. computer starts normally, but frezes again. at this point i am not sure what to do next. any idea? i also reseated RAMs to different slots, but i got warning that i am using non-optimized slots and the freezing would still happen anyway. also reseated graphic card and network card.
my system is about 1.5 years old, purchased directly from ibuypower website. no issues up unitl this one now. i spoke with ibuypower tech and he suggested that i reinstall my win10 to see if that clears the issue. reinstalling is the last thing i want to do really as i have tons of programs i use for work that i would need to reinstall as well. is there a way to troubleshoot somehow?
