I recently built a new PC and installed Windows 8.1 64-bit on it. However, I am plagued with random hard freezes, after which nothing responds and the only way to continue is to press the reset button on the case. The freezes seem to happen randomly in different circumstances, among others while watching videos in VLC, browsing in Chrome, reading e-mail in Thunderbird, having Steam library window open, using MS Word, etc. The system also generates a bunch of errors frequently. Below are errors generated just before the latest freeze:
My build is:
Mobo: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Intel LGA1150 ATX
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K 3.4 GHz LGA1150 -suo 217.90e
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 770 Twin Frozr IV Gaming
SDD: Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB (Windows is installed here)
HDD 1: Verbatim 2 TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB
HDD 2: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB
PSU: Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W, 80 PLUS Go
RAM: 2x G.Skill F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ DDR3 1600 Mhz
Would really appreciate some help on where to look for the problem.
