Question Random Gamma Increase in games

Sometimes my monitor gets really white like the gamma increases when I launch a game. When I use my function key on my keyboard and press one of the media keys to pause,, adjust volume, etc. In the video. It only happened to me once so far with league of Legends, every time I would hit hotkey for a ping the screen went really bright/white. And when I used my faction key it fixed it each time it happened that day.

Monitor: ASUS TUF VG27A 1440p, 165hz

Update: Turning my monitor on and off again fixed it. But what is causing it?

You might want to see if your monitor is displayed correctly in Device Manager. Make and model of your GPU and how you're connected to the display? Did you install the driver for the monitor found off their support site? What OS version are you on(assuming you're on Windows 10)?
