hi all
sorry for my english first
I'm having problem with my vga card ati radeon 6790 some times have random gsod when browsing
trying stress test with msi kombuster for one hour the problem not show up
I installed with newest driver from amd 14.4 even beta still not luck

all setting bios to default
disable coolnquite only

my spec:
Amd phenom x6 II 1055t
gigabyte 78lmt-s2p
hdd seagate 1tb
enermax naxn 500w
vgen 2gb ddr3

are ram will make a problem too ? or need to rma the card 🙁 ? ( have wait for 3-5 month to send it back 🙁

Solution
Just for reference, everything below the line thread dumps, kinda not needed.

Ok, the +12 rail is kinda low at 8.02.
I think normal should not go below 11.5

Can you check if the problem persist with a different power supply.. if you have some friends that may have one you can borrow.

i don't have friend who have a good psu to test my pc
well the hwmonitor say it was a 8.02 but in my bios its a 12 so who I supposed to trust ?

Read the reviews of the psu your going to buy first.. or better yet just get one thats recommended for quality like xfx 500 watts, seasonic or the tx series of corsair.

A good quality psu will always be beneficial, but not a sure solution for your current problem.
