Question Random hardware issues that may be related.

Ok so my new pc suddenly started having very loud fans recently out of the blue. Then i just had the screen go black for a sec and come back. When that happened windows played the sound that happens when a flash drive is removed. Then after that it would not let me open any apps from the start menu until i restarted. Any thoughts on these issues? Is there a chance they're related?
