Question random headset breakage

so I was just simply playing a game listening to music, chilling out literally not even moving and suddetly sound just turned off, i then just thought i accidently pay of turned the volume down or something which i did not and i replugged and it didnt work i then tried a different system and it didnt work and pls help

Have you tried different headphones? If those work, sounds like you just need a new headset.
