Random, Huge FPS Drops, help

Hi guys,

I built my PC a couple weeks ago with the following specs: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/Rqgmyc

Most of the time everything runs flawlessly; 90-100 FPS with all the games I've played. However, every once in a while I get these REALLY bad frame drops while playing. It'll be running at 100 FPS and all of a sudden drop to a constant 5-10. I can confirm that it is not an issue with a single game, as it has happened with multiple. Every time these drops happen, it seems I need to restart my computer for it to be fixed (that is, until it happens again...)

I have the latest graphics card driver installed and GPU+CPU temperatures are fine even when these drops happen. Any ideas why this might be happening and what I can do about it?? Thanks!

See if the GPU utilisation drops while these drops are happening.
It should drop to very little amounts.
It could be your PSU underpowering it, can you list your PSU?

Thank you for the response, it turns out it was a graphics driver issue. Downgraded to 347.52 and everything has been working perfectly.
