In the past week my PC has been having a random and weird issue.
After my PC is on for some time it acts as if some keys on the keyboard are being held down. This time it was the space bar and last time it was number 1 on the Numpad.

Restarting the PC solves the issue for some time but not permanently. It randomly appears again and i have to restart my PC to fix it.
At first i thought a key in my keyboard was stuck or something but i unplugged my keyboard and the issue was still there.

Hi. To see if this is a 3rd party software problem, try a clean boot. A clean boot is basically Windows without any 3rd party services/software starting up. This is not the same as Safe mode. To do a clean boot, you disable all 3rd party start software in Task Manager, and you disable ONLY 3rd party services in System Configuration (msconfig.exe). Do NOT disable any Microsoft software or services.

Full instructions can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows
Be sure to check the box to "Hide all Microsoft services" in System Configuration. Afterwards, you reboot and this will be your "clean boot".

- If you are still having the problem, I would recommend enabling all services/software once again. Then reboot and try a malware/virus scan.

- If the problem goes away in clean boot, then it was one of the programs/services that you disabled that is causing the problem. Re-enable a few at a time until you discover which one is causing the problem. Tip: I usually start by re-enabling all services in System Config then reboot. Wait a while and if you see if you still have problems. If not, re-enable a few programs at a time in Task Manager until you track down the culprit.
