[SOLVED] Random keyboard and mouse stutter ?

I got a new pc months ago but out of the box it has had an issue that when ever I do anything on it my mouse seems to lag. The cursor will just stop moving(for 1-2 seconds) and then keep moving again however the display nor the sound lag.

It seems to happen more often when I play games but sometimes I will go weeks on end without having the problem but all of a sudden it will start stuttering even if I'm just on google. It also seems to effect the keyboard input as well but that has been less of a problem.

I've posted on many forums and subreddits but I've got not one answer so I am completely lost on how to fix this glitch that will make my pc unusable at times.

Its not the mouse it self because I have tried 3 different mice and all have the same issue. The mice are Bluetooth but keyboard is not.

I am not 100% sure but it seems that sometimes a virtual line goes down the screen in which when the mouse crosses over it, the pointer freezes and then unfreezes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

so if its a driver its part of windows.
or its a weird hardware problem

Do you have the latest bios?
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-B560I-GAMING-EDGE-WIFI/support#down-bios

if you update bios, update the chipset and IMEI as well,
chipset drivers - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-B560I-GAMING-EDGE-WIFI/support#down-driver&Win11 64
grab Intel management Engine interface from Other Drivers

was it always on 11? Have you tried win 10 on PC?
I would try running Ubuntu live off USB and see if it has same problems, would remove windows from blame if it does - https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows#1-overview

what are specs of the PC?

Have you tried updating GPU drivers as that can help

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

it doesn't delete anything, just stops things loading with startup, might remove that virtual line.

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

is it laggy in safe mode?
  1. go to settings/System/Recovery
  2. Next to advanced startup, click restart now button
  3. this restarts PC in a blue menu
  4. choose troubleshoot
  5. choose advanced
  6. choose startup options
  7. click the restart button
  8. choose a safe mode (it doesn't matter which) by using number associated with it.
  9. Pc will restart and load safe mode

that would tell us if its hardware or drivers. If it still happens, its an odd hardware bug. If it doesn't, its drivers.
We can proceed from there.

I restarted the pc in safe mode and with only my web browser open, it still happened.

Do you have the latest bios?

I cant seem to figure out how to update my BIOS. Its not on the newest so either. I have tried using q-flash in the BIOS but it says "BIOS vendor is incorrect" but I made sure to download the correct one off of the site. So I tried to use the gigabyte app center to update the bios but that also gave me an error even though I follow their guides exactly.

The stutter occurred during the time I had windows 10.
