Question Random lag spikes after upgrade

Hello, 2 days ago i builded this configuration: i7 9900k with a noctua NH-D15, 16gb gskill aegis 3000 c16 (no heatsink), Z390 aorus pro, evga 650 GQ, rtx 2060 gainward gs. All i did atm is tweak a bit my ram and found stability from 3000mhz cas 16-18-18-38 1.35v to 3300mhz cas 15-18-18-36 1.39/1.40v. I found this setting after various trying and test with memtest who now passed without error. Main problems accour when i play some games, i get evident lagspikes in determinate circustance, it like "freeze" often for about 1 second. I'm talking also about games who not require heavy hardware, reduce setting did not fix the issue. Can be ram related? My overvall temps are ok. I upgraded my PC with these new components so mobo, cpu, ram and powersupply, but i did not a clean Windows install, can be also this? Thanks in advance

Assuming you are using the same internet connection as before, and that worked, I would just pull up task manager and monitor the performance tab while you run some games. My first guess would be storage since you didn't mention it and all your other parts seem fine. Your RAM is also a little on the cheap side considering the quality of your components.

Also, make sure you have all your drivers installed.

P.S. your CPU doesn't exist. I assume it was a typo and you meant the i7 9700k or i9 9900k.

if you upgraded your hardware you should really do a repair install of windows at the very least.
also your ram maybe more stable if you can run cas 14 3200 rather than cas 15 3300 and will have zero impact on performance. infact you may gain slightly.
