So like many others i tried out fortnite, i've been playing it for around 2 months with no problem at all. Yesterday morning my new Logitech G502 proteus spectrum mouse arrived and i plugged it in straight away, installed all of the software then reset my pc. Because i had just got my new mouse i thought i should also push my gpu and get the best performance to see how much improvement the mouse made. I have an aorus GTX 1060 6GB and i didnt really change much in the settings just switched it to the preset OC mode, i then launched my game and began getting very random and sometimes very short spots of lag. This lag would freeze the audio and my screen and then everything would happen at once almost instantly. sometimes it would freeze for a few minutes before catching up with itself

Solution
I decided to pull out the graphics card and RAM, i put in my 2nd set of ram and noticed that there was a big patch of thermal paste missing on my cpu which i think was my problem, i re-applied the thermal paste and have been getting temps of around 50 degrees c under full load and more importantly. NO FRAME DROPS.

No but i have find something that temporarily stopped the glitching but it returned not long after. I installed ccleaner and cleared my registry then i reset my pc and i had no glitvhing for around 10-15 minutes but then it returned, i cant quite tell if its better or worse but i know that it's definitely less frequent.
