Random loading next to pointer.

I've started getting a loading icon (the round blue circle next to pointer) randomly occurring during
general desktop use. I'm not sure what is causing it. Is there a way of finding what it is? I'ts slightly annoying.

That's usually due to waiting on disk access. If you don't have an SSD, it might be a sign of disk failure. use scandisk and check the SMART status (speedfan can help you with that if you don't have better tools) to see if there are issues.

It could also be caused by malware, so make sure you can your system with reputable software.

I have an ssd as my OS drive and I'm clean with Malwarebytes.
