Recently my PC has been 'deadlocking' without warning. I get no BSOD the screen stays on etc i am just unable to move the mouse, any sound or music playing etc stops and I also get no response from the keyboard when pressing capslock or numlock (no lights change)
There is no pattern to it and it doesn't seem to happen when I am doing something particular.

I've tried a few things already such as running memtest64 overnight, which returned no errors. I am currently trying 1 ram stick at a time to try and pinpoint it to one or the other if it is indeed Ram.

CPU temps seem to be fine, i recently replaced my motherboard so the CPU has fresh thermal paste on it and i have an aftermarket cooling fan installed.

My specs are listed below any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P

CPU: AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core Processor, 4000 Mhz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8gb DDR3

PSU: Corsair CX750m

Ah, I see, many thanks for the reply. I haven't actually overclocked at all, I have left everything at stock speeds and voltages so I'm not sure it could be that in my case, but thanks for your reply!
