Hi,

my PC seems to freeze at random times, usually I manage to find the source and fix it but I have no clue what's happening.

Details:

the computer freezes and makes a 'buggy' sound from the speakers for a second, you have to reset by manually pressing the button.
It can happen every few hours and if I shut down the computer for say..a month it stops occurring for several months until it happens again.

Last time it happened to me the computer wouldn't even turn on (that's why I stopped trying to turn it on at the time and realized it stops after a while...)

now it's back and it just randomly freezes.
It seems to happen (but not limited to!) while gaming.

PC specs:
OS: Windows 10 pro - 64 bit
Mobo: Rampage IV extreme
CPU: i7 3820
Ram: 16GB DDR3
Graphics: GTX 980
PSU: Corsair AX-1200 (I realize this is a huge overkill)

I've tried to:
1) Unplug my headphones/speakers
2) Memory checks, CCleaner
3) windows defender
4) Checked the temperature, it's hovering around 30-35 for the CPU and 60 for the GPU while gaming
5) Clean my computer of dust

Thank you for everything

I've updated it now, I'll let you know if the freezes are back.
For future reference, what makes you think this is the problem?

Is it possible to remove this message?
