Random PC freezes when gaming

Hey guys,

The entire system freezes, and I am unable to "ctrl, alt, del" or do anything, forcing me to restart the computer. Any audio that was playing cuts off. This happens completely randomly. It can happen twice a day or once a week. I'm 1000% frustrated with it already and have been dealing with this issue for about a year already. I don't overclock and I had thought it was an overheating thing so I added two more fans with no dice. I appreciate any help you folks can give me.

Has the memory been tested in the past?

How should I test the ram? I've tried the windows memory diag tool but that's about it.

I'm assuming either a memory issue or a problem with your primary drive. Is your ram in dual channel or single channel?

dual channel 16gb. I've used the MemoryDiagnostic tool for windows and found no errors.
