Hello all,

Over the past 2 weeks, I've started experiencing random freezing issues with my Windows 10 PC. It seems to only occur when I'm in the middle of a game and absolutely nothing will unfreeze it other than completely holding down the power button and turning the PC off. When the PC turns back on, it will then sometimes freeze mid-boot, other times it'll freeze when I first login to my user and get my desktop background up. This is rare though, usually it reboots straight away with no issues.

I've checked temps of my GPU/CPU etc and nothing looks abnormal. Here is my build for reference.

  • Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64bit OEM DVD
  • Intel Core i9 10900K Processor
  • MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ventus 3X 10GB
  • Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18 DDR4
  • NZXT Kraken Z63 280mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler
  • Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM008 3.5in Hard Drive
  • NZXT Aer RGB 2 Fan 120mm
  • Phanteks Revolt Pro Full Modular Gold 850W Power Supply
  • Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe SSD 1TB
  • MSI MAG Z490 Tomahawk Motherboard
  • Samsung 870 QVO 2.5in SATA SSD 2TB
  • NZXT H510 Elite RGB Mid Tower Case Matte Black/Black
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I guess your problem will be solved with one of these options:
Update your drivers
Clear your computer’s temp files
Adjust your virtual memory
Repair your system files
Run a memory check
Run Disk Check
Disable C-States in BIOS
