For around 2 months now, i've been getting random ping spikes which have been very noticeable when gaming on the PC - I recently noticed that these spikes only occur a certain amount of time after I join a game. When streaming on YouTube and Twitch, you wouldn't notice there were any problems.
I'm connected via to my Virgin Media WiFi on the 5GHz band and i'm also using a NETGEAR A6210 Network adapter because I cannot use ethernet due to distance.
Prior to these 2 months, I had not had a single issue in regards to ping for over 2 years.

The video shows 2 different games of battlefield 4 with clips of several minutes apart - before and after the ping spikes begin to hit + the second game was played after restarting my PC. Any help on solving the problem would be greatly appreciated.
