Random pixels on screen

Hi so my monitor has been acting up for a few days now. When i play games or when there is an image on screen with a lot of different colors there are these random greyish pixelated lines that appear. it gets worse when im playing games. So far i have tried reinstalling my graphics drivers, changing my vga cable, cleaning out my computer case for any built up dust, my temps are at 70 max when playing games.

PC specs:
amd 6670hd 2gb
i5 3350p 3.1 GHz
8gb of ram
450w powers supply

I suspect that there is an issue with my grapchis card or my psu

you are right there are some issue with graphic card or Psu
those lines are caused by gpu not able to transfer enough data to monitor.
btw aht resolution your monitor?

1680x1050, the severity of the lines changes with a lower res. but i also think that my psu was somehow affected by me truning of my fan as it was plugged in right nex to my psu cable. when i turned it of, for some reason all my usb ports got reset, and it took some time for it to all come back...
