So after reading many threads and not getting anywhere, here's my story.
So I first encountered issues when my pc started randomly turning off instantly. No shutting down, just power then no power. It would let me turn it back on again though, as if nothing had happened. I checked temps, checked connections, it happened both under load and idling at the desktop. Took it back to the store that built it under labour warranty, they stress tested it and we're unable to replicate the fault. Unsurprising, considering I had run it for (sometimes) 2 days or more before encountering a power loss (and sometimes less than 1 hour).
After getting it back home, to no one's surprise, it turned off again after around 6 hours of use. I again returned it to the store where they relented and replaced the PSU under manufacturer warranty. Got it home and 3 hours of smooth running later - it powers off again!
This time however, it won't turn on again. I have tried changing the power cable, different wall socket, unplugging the front mounted case USB ports, unplugging and replacing all the motherboard power connectors, but still no luck. One thing to note is that the CPU power connector was not seated correctly and was very loose - (I really hope it hasn't fried the cpu)
There is no beep, no sound, no fans, nothing. When the power switch on the PSU is turned on, the motherboard standby light is rapidly flashing green. I have consulted the manual but there is no mention of this behaviour. When pressing the case power button, nothing changes.
The store mentioned that the first time they had it, they updated the BIOS. The only thing I can think of that I haven't tried, short of dismantling it all and testing each component (I don't have the time or space), is to reset the CMOS. Any suggestions would be great. See below for component list.
