I hope you've actually used DDU. It's different from a simple reinstall. Very different.

Do you have another PSU to verify if your current one is dying? If not, do you have the means of obtaining one to test with? I suspect your current PSU isn't dead, but it's dying. Unless you're trying to power a portable microwave oven, There is no way a system with an overclocked 6700k and overclocked GTX1080 can place any strain on a 1000W capable PSU. I doubt your system pulls more than 550W on average, 750W if all the peaks line up perfectly (which never...

My hunch is your power supply is dying, or something is off with your power cables. Did you use the right cables? Are they plugged in all the way? Is it getting enough power from the wall?

I don't think bad drivers cause random restarts... usually. No reason not to make sure though. Download Guru DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and run it. Then reinstall just the latest driver to eliminate driver corruption/conflicting drivers as a potential cause of the problem.

I still think it's your unknown power supply.

I ended up reinstalling my current drivers and i checked all my power cords and nothing was loose. And now the only time my computer restarts is when im idling in a game, any game

Try clear CMOS too?

From what I understand, this only started happening after you put in the new graphics card. The only other thing I can think of is that when you were swapping cards, you bumped/moved/dislocated/dislodged something. I've seen the power button header on one of my old motherboard cause issues after I'd accidentally bent one of the pins trying to fish out a fan cable. Bending it straight again fixed it, magically.
