Hello,

Over the last week, I have noticed that my system is randomly restarting. I first noticed it happening while I was playing the Sims 3 last week, but happens no matter what I'm doing (surfing the internet, streaming videos, nothing, etc.). In fact, this is my third time writing this post, because it has restarted while I was writing it the first and second times.

My system specs are:
Windows 10
9GB RAM
Intel i7 920
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740
Corsair RM550x (about a year and a half old)

Here is what I have found out from troubleshooting over the past few days:
  • All of the system components passed diagnostic and stress tests.
  • I updated the video card driver (version 445.87 released 4/15/2020).
  • The GPU is not overheating. The hottest it gets is up to about 65 degrees (Celsius), when the Sims is running.
Sometimes it just restarts with no error message, sometimes I get a BSOD, and one time it just froze and I had to do a hard restart. Here are the last several unique BSOD codes:
  1. 0x0000000a (0xffffa7072f1fb088, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff8040a2c9c47)
  2. 0x0000007f (0x0000000000000008, 0xffff9c00947ec090, 0xfffff60f7ab20000, 0xfffff800485cfd80)
  3. 0x000000d1 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000008, 0x0000000000000000)
  4. 0x00000050 (0xffffd885de226b98, 0x0000000000000002, 0xfffff8013c1d4285, 0x0000000000000002)
  5. 0x000000be (0xffffe7b001bb3658, 0x8a00000003b00021, 0xfffffc0805853470, 0x000000000000000a)
When it freezes or just restarts, the event logs are unhelpful, as they only show an unexpected shutdown; however, the event logs from the BSODs give more information. I'm a bit out of my depth with figuring out how to decipher the DMP files, but here is a link to the last 9 minidump files: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1L8UJJHtqa1PbYOefj_KBA_SaP1k8ujWU?usp=sharing

Any help would be appreciated.
