random restarts help

i have been experiencing random restarts ever since i upgraded my gpu psu and cpu the computer will freeze for a few seconds and then restart, i does not happen at load (games)
here are my specs

Bored - Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
CPU - FX 8350
GPU - Sapphire R9 290 OC
RAM - 8gb DDR3 2210MHz
PSU - CX750M

does sound like a psu problem. But it could be software or any other bit of hardware..... I had a strange problem recently that took a while to figure out where my pc was freezing up at random, was doing my head in. It finally became more frequent and i deduced it only happened when Steam was open. Reinstalled Steam and problem gone. So like i said, it could be anything. I would first monitor temperatures and see if anything is overheating, also make sure the psu fan is spinning. Re-seat all components in their sots, gpu, ram, power connectors etc. If your keen and can be done easily enough, a clean install of windows rules out most of your software issues.

unless you don't have way too many progs/games installed i'd suggest to reinstall Windows to eliminate software/drivers side of problems

its was the old motherboard, all is sorted
