I had couple of random restarts while not doing much, either PC was idling or I was browsing internet. But so far it worked fine when gaming.
In event viewer it says Kernel Power 41 at the time of the restart. Now I googled about this and some suggestions were to edit power plan settings, I did that and problem went away. But today, about two weeks later, I had another restart. I played MotoGP 19, closed the game and after about 5 minutes PC just restarted itself.
Only game I have installed is MotoGP 19 and that works fine, altho I know it is not a demanding game. While playing CPU temperatures is at 65°C (149F) and GPU at 71°C (159F), usage is 40-60% for both.
From what I've seen googling, people mostly suggest it is PSU issue, but it puzzles me that it works fine in games, but restarts when in minimal usage.
My specs are
CPU : i5 6500
MB: MSI B150m Mortar
RAM : HyperX Savage 16GB DDR4 2133
GPU : Gigabyte Windforce 1060 6GB
HDD : Samsung F3 500GB
PSU : EVGA Supernova G2 550W
Case: Cooler Master CM690
