CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
CPU cooler: Corsair H100i water cooler
GPU: Nvidia GTX1050ti
RAM: 4x4gb Kingston DDR3
PSU: Corsair 650w
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3

I have just installed a new motherboard & CPU, when it boots up it will randomly just power off.

Any clues to what it could be?

Have tried - running off integrated graphics, removing each stick of RAM..

Thank you

Sorry to say, but get the old CPU and motherboard back and get a more stable combo.

If you won´t:
check for a correct sitting and functioning cooler (thermal paste applied correctly as well)
check temperature margin with AMD overdrive in windows
check if the CPU is throttling while under load (prime95 option smallFFT)
use a Top Blower cooler or install an additional fan, which blows to the motherboard near the CPU (cooling VRMs)

which corsair 650W PSU is it?
hardware revision of the motherboard (left bottom near a screw "Rev. X.X")

Only if it´s stable while being in the BIOS, otherwise it could lead to a non responsing motherboard if while flashing the power wents off):
update the BIOS within BIOS itself, don´t flash in windows!

check the RAM with memtest.org usb autoinstaller

Sorry im unsure what you mean get a more stable combo?

The old CPU & Motherboard were nearly a decade old.

It is stable in BIOS but when getting out of bios is when its powering off.
