Ok most of this stuff has been in there a while with no issues so there's no new hardware the last thing to go in was the M2 drive a few months ago. In the last few days the pc has just powered off. Mostly while gaming but once when just using a browser and a couple of time during boot just after a crash. Statistically it was most likely to go when gaming as that's the main use.

Im currently in the middle of a memory diagnostic tool run.

When the crash happens I can turn on the pc as long as I flick the switch at the PSU hold down the power button until the lights go out and then flick the switch again.

All the lights go out (in the case - it's not a power cut) except the RGB for the motherboard but that stays on for a bit after shutdown anyway.

There is no blue screen of death. There is no Black screen of death.

I'm trying a different mouse (keyboard is next).

There are no abnormalities with graphics and no events of note (the 41 related ones in event viewer but they are just the ones saying the computer powered off suddenly).

Temperatures seem normal 45-50 degrees Celcius. (45 degrees CPU when gaming 56 degrees GPU when gaming)

I'm thinking PSU as it's getting on a bit but any input would be great fully received.

See if you can buy from somewhere with a good returns policy, that way you can try it and see if the issue persists. If it does, just take it back.

But I'd bet it's the power supply.
That's my job for tomorrow then. Cheers just waiting on seeing if it crashes with almost nothing plugged in to usb sockets (and with different things if it does). It would be just my luck to fork out for a PSU only to find it's something stupid stuck in the usb socket lol. Cheers for the help.
