Question Random stuttering in some games, 0% CPU and GPU

Hi,
I have recently purchased a new laptop (ASUS FX705DU)
and am experiencing consistent freezing during some multiplayer games (mainly CSGO, smite etc) where my FPS will go from a consistent 120 to 1. I have noticed that my CPU and GPU % both dropping to 0 when this happens and I believe the temperatures are not an issue after observing them with afterburner. I have also done other changes such as turning off the windows DVR etc. Has anyone experienced this before or can offer and suggestions it would be greatly apricated.
