So about 5 months ago I upgraded from my old FX 8350 and went to the Ryzen platform. Got a R5 1600 for a really good sale price on Newegg and then bought 8gb of RAM and a new MOBO to match.

MOBO: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132988

RAM: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820215176

I installed the new components and started up first try. Immediately went to the AMD Drivers and got the reccomended ones for my computer. Fast forward about 2 days and Im playing Fortnite STW, I get a pretty bad (what I assumed was a lag spike) and crashed. Okay no worries, just restart the game. It happens again. Now this is 5~ months later and no matter what game I play I will randomly freeze or stutter however you want to put it and either crash or be forced to wait about 15-30 seconds for my PC to get back up to pace. I have reinstalled all AMD drivers fresh, and even done repairs on all the games to make sure its not some error on the games part. This happens in CSGO, Fortnite, Destiny2 and even freezes Google Chrome often when I am watching something or chaging tabs. My CPU and GPU temps are all very adequate and so it doesnt seem to be any thermal throttling or the like. My GPU is an R9 380, and I dont try to play all games maxed, I like to always get above 60 FPS, I normally shoot for 100~ in all 3 of these games. Thank you if anyone can help me. If there is any other Spec of my PC that you would like to know I will be sure to answer. ATM my family and I are getting ready to evacuate as we are in a evac zone for Hurricane Florence. So I apologize for any late replies.
